Innodem Neurosciences technology featured in Nature
Innodem Neurosciences published a study in the prestigious journal Nature – the leading international weekly journal of science. The study focusing on the potential of tablet-based eye-tracking technology in assessing brain health and function, particularly in clinical settings. Traditionally, detailed oculomotor assessments have been limited by equipment scalability. However, advancements in tablet-based technologies offer a fast, cost-effective, and reliable alternative. The study demonstrated the ability of mobile tablet-based eye-tracking to distinguish between Parkinson's Disease patients and healthy individuals. Additionally, they explored how these eye-tracking measures can provide insights into cognitive abilities and disease severity in Parkinson's Disease patients.
By combining oculomotor parameters through partial least square regression, the study achieved a significant explanation of variance in cognitive test scores.
